Meet Our Staff

	Jackie Piazza Jackie began her 23 year career as an esthetician upon her graduation from the Christine Valmay School of Esthetics in New York. She has dedicated many hours to continual improvement of her knowledge of esthetics by attending classes at the International Dermal Institute in Boston and New York, and taught classes at the Paul Mitchell Partner School in 2001. In addition to her skills in esthetics, Jackie is also an energy healer. She obtained certification as a Reiki Master Teacher and certification as Kundilini Reiki Master, Magnified Healing and Integrated Energy Therapy(IET). Jackie lives in North Haven with her husband and son who is in high school.
	Juanita SirkoJuanita is a 1999 graduate of the Aesthetic Science Institute in Albany, New York, and at that time was employed at Beaux Visages European Skin Care Center in Guilford. Juanita relocated to Naples Florida and went on to further her education in Esthetics at the Bonita Spings School of Esthetics,and is a State of Florida licensed Skin Care Specialist, and has worked in the Medical Esthetic field in Naples. Juanita has been back in Connecticut since 2007 and continues her skills in various types of facials and facial massage, microdermabrasion, glycolic, jessner and lactic peels, as well as waxing. What makes Juanita so special is the connection she makes with her clients; she is always going the extra mile to help and educate her clients. Prior to Juanita’s Esthetic career she has many years experience in the Medical field and is also currently working part time as a Medical Assistant. Juanita lives in Clinton with her husband.
	Twyla Sullivan Twyla, our front desk receptionist, has been actively involved in the skin care industry since 1992. She earned her certificate in Esthetics from Beau visages School in Albany, New York. Twyla managed the start up of the Beaux Visages European Skin Care Center in Guilford until 1996, when she bought the center. In 2001, Twyla transitioned the spa to her signature label, ‘a la Juenesse and served as owner manager until she sold the successful business in late 2006. Twyla lives in Guilford with her husband and has two sons, both employed in advertising in New York City, as well as a daughter who is a missionary in Haiti.
	Barbara Barbara has been a licensed massage therapist for more than 13 years. A graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, she holds licenses to practice in Connecticut and New York. Over the years, Barbara has expanded her services to include myofacial release, hot stone massage, treatment for fibromyalgia, active and passive stretching, joint mobilization and chair massage. She offers a comprehensive massage which provides the benefits of clinical massage complimented with a meditative quality. Barbara has built a very strong client base – many of her clients have been with her for 12 years. Believing in the importance of regular body work, she has developed a program of affordable services and promotes the benefits of chair massage. Barbara, an avid animal lover, volunteers for animal shelters and groups, including raising money to provide vet services and support ‘rescue relays’ across the country.
